Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend/distributed systems.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS).
• Strong API design skills for distributed services.
• Experience with OAuth2, webhooks, and rate limits.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python or Java).

Responsibilities

• Design new third-party integrations from OAuth2 connection to data sync.
• Ship end-to-end integration features across push and pull data flows.
• Standardize integration patterns for faster future builds.
• Design clean APIs to support integration features and platform services.
• Improve reliability in event-driven infrastructure as usage grows.
• Build dashboards to monitor health of integration systems.
