Qualifications

• 5+ years building distributed backend systems in production.
• Proficiency with Kotlin or Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Experience designing event-driven systems (Kafka or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or comparable data stores.
• Track record of leading technical work across a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices and APIs for reliability and low latency.
• Own a domain end-to-end, including data model and integration contracts.
• Apply domain-driven design to define service boundaries.
• Build and evolve event-driven integrations using Kafka across teams.
• Lead code reviews, set standards, and mentor engineers.
• Partner with product and clinical stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Ensure test coverage, observability, and production health of services.
