The role collaborates with product and engineering teams to improve provisioning, onboarding, observability, and compliance-related functionality, while supporting managed security service provider offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience in modern programming languages (Python, Go, TypeScript) or similar.
• Experience building applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, including tenant isolation and access controls.
• Hands-on experience with licensing, subscription, entitlement, and usage metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services for licensing and access control.
• Build provisioning and onboarding workflows for automatic customer activation.
• Develop infrastructure for user access controls and account settings.
• Build capabilities for managed security service provider offerings.
• Implement audit logging for compliance and support purposes.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer, Growth & MSSP to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will focus on building the backend systems that support customer lifecycle workflows, access controls, and subscription-based capabilities within a multi-tenant SaaS environment. You will partner closely with product and engineering teams to improve provisioning, onboarding, observability, and compliance-related functionality. The work will also support managed security service provider offerings and help ensure a scalable, reliable experience for customers.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $170,000 – $235,000 annually.
