Job summary
Horizon3 is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Growth & MSSP team, owning platform infrastructure for licensing, entitlements, and admin experiences across NodeZero. You will design scalable backend services and drive automated provisioning, RBAC patterns, and MSP/MSSP capabilities in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
The role emphasizes production reliability, observability, and collaboration with adjacent teams, with a hybrid/remote work model and a base salary in the USD 170k–235k
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building production apps on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Docker & Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services for licensing, entitlements, feature access, usage limits, and packaging rules across NodeZero.
- Develop provisioning and onboarding workflows for automated account activation.
- Build admin experience infrastructure: RBAC and multi-tenant administration.
- Create MSP/MSSP capabilities with usage visibility and reporting.
- Implement audit logs and event history systems for compliance and support.
- Develop the notifications platform for transactional and non-transactional messages.
- Operate services in production with monitoring, runbooks, and incident response.
- Contribute production code with high design quality, test coverage, and observability.
- Collaborate with adjacent teams to ensure entitlements are applied consistently.
