Job summary

Affim is building a global AI platform that powers trusted, scalable AI workloads for engineers and production workloads. You will design and deliver gateway, runtime, and evaluation services that handle millions of user transactions with reliability and security baked in.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Proven experience with languages like Python or Kotlin.
• Strong background in highly available distributed systems (AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes).
• Experience with LLMs, agents, or AI frameworks in production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and own technical decisions and projects within the AI Platform team from design through launch and on-call.
• Design and build the gateway, runtime, and evaluation services for AI workloads at scale.
• Establish guardrails for identity, quota, routing, caching, and failover for model/tools adoption.
• Collaborate with security, infra, and product engineering to set tool access guardrails.
• Develop and monitor metrics; own operational health, runbooks, alerts, and on-call processes.
• Define and promote code review standards and design guidelines across the team.
