Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a senior backend engineer for the Falcon Exposure Management pillar to architect and build a risk intelligence platform handling massive data streams, complex risk calculations, and remediation automation.

You will work with Golang and Python, deliver scalable microservices, collaborate across teams, and mentor juniors while upholding high-availability standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of production experience building, delivering, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems processing high-volume data.
• Advanced programming in object-oriented languages (Golang and Python).
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and distributed messaging patterns.
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS preferred).
• Distributed systems concepts: concurrency, parallel processing, caching, sharding.
• Kafka experience and data pipeline design.
• Experience using AI to improve workflows and decisions.
• PostgreSQL and Redis in distributed environments.
• System troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable backend services powering internal and customer-facing apps.
• Develop APIs and tooling that integrate with the platform ecosystem.
• Design infrastructure including real-time data pipelines and monitoring.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated solutions with documentation.
• Ensure high availability and proactive incident response.
• Drive architectural improvements and performance optimizations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decisions.
• Maintain robust service reliability and observability.
