Job summary

CrowdStrike seeks an experienced backend engineering leader to drive end-to-end design and implementation of auth-and-authorization services within the Falcon Platform. You will own large-scale microservices, work across teams, and mentor engineers while ensuring reliability, performance and security.

Key tech includes Go, Python, AWS, Kafka, GraphQL, and distributed systems. You will engage in open source contributions and align with fast-paced, collaborative workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend object-oriented development experience in production, with Golang, Java, Scala, Node.js, Python or C# (.NET Core).
• Experience with AuthN and AuthZ
• Experience with Fine-Grained Auth rules (FGA)
• Recent experience building high scale event driven microservices architecture (at least 5M events/day)
• Ability to scale backend systems – sharding, partitioning and horizontal scaling

Responsibilities

• Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications across CrowdStrike products.
• Build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks and automate cyber threat intelligence production at a global scale.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to design and implement impactful solutions.
• Mentor other developers on backend and data storage technologies and our system.
• Continuously re-evaluate architecture for performance, reliability and user experience.
