Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a software engineer for its Advanced Research team to develop and maintain cloud services that keep pace with adversaries in the cybersecurity space.

You will collaborate with Security, Data Science, Engineering, and Visualization experts to build innovative solutions and integrate new capabilities into the Falcon platform, contributing to a distributed, remote-first, high-trust work environment.

Qualifications

• Computer science degree or commensurate experience.
• Programming in Java/Scala, Go, or Python is preferred.
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, RESTful patterns, and multithreading.
• Experience building and scaling services in production.
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins/Bamboo).
• Experience with major cloud provider APIs (AWS, GCP, AZURE).
• Strong cross-functional communication.
• Experience applying AI technologies to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance distributed cloud services for the Falcon platform.
• Collaborate with Security, Data Science, Engineering, and Visualization teams.
• Ensure services remain healthy, scalable, and secure.
