Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a senior backend engineer to drive scalable services in a hybrid Sunnyvale setting. You’ll use Go and Python to develop large-scale applications and collaborate across teams to deliver robust systems processing millions of events daily.

Qualifications

• Necessary criteria to obtain GovCloud Access: Citizenship or PR/GC status is required.
• 8+ years of backend OO development in production using Golang/Java/Scala/Node.js/Python/C#.
• Experience with AuthN and AuthZ and Fine-Grained access rules.
• Experience building high-scale event-driven microservices (5M+ events/day).
• Ability to scale backend systems with horizontal sharding/partitioning.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, multi-threading and concurrency.
• CS degree or equivalent experience; passion for shipping production code.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend engineering efforts from prototypes to large-scale applications across CrowdStrike products.
• Build cloud-based systems to detect attacks and automate threat intelligence at global scale.
• Collaborate across teams to define and build new features and improvements.
• Mentor colleagues in web, backend and data storage technologies; foster learning.
• Re-evaluate product architecture for performance, reliability and UX improvements.
• Be a self-starter with ownership for deliverables and timelines.
• Contribute to open source and the broader tech community.
