Job summary

CrowdStrike in Sunnyvale is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Falcon Exposure Management team as an early member on a greenfield initiative. Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience building and maintaining systems at scale.
• Experience shipping LLM-backed systems to production, including ownership of reliability, cost, and correctness.
• Practical experience with agentic loops—designing or operating agents that invoke tools and act on real data.
• Strong engineering judgment—ability to break down unfamiliar problems, reason about tradeoffs, and choose simple, effective approaches.
• Hands-on use of frontier-model SDKs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar) and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a new product from the ground up, making foundational architecture and technology decisions.
• Build the distributed systems foundation: high throughput, large-scale data processing, and reliability.
• Incorporate agentic capabilities into the product for real data processing and explainable results.
• Take AI capabilities from prototype to production, managing latency, cost, correctness, and evaluation.
• Set the technical bar for quality, testing, and observability, and help grow the engineers around you.
