Job summary

CrowdStrike is hiring a highly experienced Sr. Backend Engineer II for the Detection Engine Platform in New York City. The role focuses on designing, building, and scaling core services that process security data across multiple Falcon products, delivering real-time detection capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in one or more modern programming languages (Go preferred).
• Experience architecting and delivering scalable platform services in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core platform services that ingest, process, and route security events.
• Drive architecture for Detection Content Management Platform and CI/CD tooling.
• Develop scalable microservices using Go, Java, Python and cloud technologies.
• Contribute to Unified Detections Management to improve detection experience for all customers.
• Mentor mid-level and senior engineers and guide cross-team alignment.
