Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and operate cloud-native services powering Falcon Vulnerability Assessment. You will work on high-throughput systems, leveraging Golang and Python, across AWS and GCP, and build real-time data pipelines for security insights.

You will collaborate with security researchers and platform teams to advance autonomous capabilities, ensure reliability, and scale a global security platform with observability and cost-aware production deployments.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Golang or Java in production systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (S3, SQS, etc.) and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-throughput, low-latency backend services and APIs.
• Architect and operate cloud-native infrastructure across AWS and GCP at scale.
• Build and maintain Kafka-based event streaming pipelines for near-real-time processing.
• Drive backend engineering and process automation across the platform.
• Ensure service reliability through profiling, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
