Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Backend Engineer III to join the Detection Engine team in NYC. You will lead the design and implementation of core platform services, working on a system that processes large-scale security events.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on large-scale distributed systems. This hybrid role requires visiting the office twice a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in one or more modern programming languages (Go preferred).
• Extensive experience with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity or SIEM principles is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of core platform services.
• Drive the architecture for the Detection Content Management Platform.
• Develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant microservices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and other engineering teams.
