Job summary

Texas HR Team is partnering with an exciting client to identify a Senior Product Engineer to build and harden the systems behind Lighthouse—the web platform and AI layer used across centers.

This is a hands-on, IC role on a small HQ team. You will own real systems end-to-end, shipping backend services, CRM, reporting, and AI-assisted features from day one while collaborating with the CTO and QA. Remote within the United States, with strong engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Strong JVM skills; Kotlin strongly preferred; Java/Scala acceptable.
• Proficient with Postgres, HTTP/gRPC APIs, multi-tenant architectures.
• Excellent production debugging, observability, and testing discipline.
• Interest in AI-assisted engineering with Claude Code or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services on Lighthouse platform (Kotlin/VM, GCP).
• Own revenue-critical domains: CRM, lead pipeline, reporting, AI feeds.
• Implement roadmap items: attribution, lead ops, AI reporting, inventory, console.
• Strengthen tests for multi-tenant isolation and system observability.
• Improve concurrency, performance, idempotency in critical workflows.
• Support multi-region expansion with careful data scoping and optimization.
• Use AI tools across planning, implementation, review, and debugging.
• Report to the CTO and collaborate with engineers, QA, and server-platform team.
