Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and operate IaaS/PaaS/SaaS in Azure to support DISA and DoD modernization programs. The role includes migration from on-prem to cloud, zero-trust initiatives, and data migration from on-prem FlexLogic DB to a cloud Oracle database with vendor support.

The position requires an Active SECRET clearance (or higher) and may require onsite work at Ft. Meade. Remote work is allowed with US-based requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Design, deploy, and operate cloud solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD, and automation tools.
• Knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA security requirements.
• Active SECRET or higher DoD clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud services (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) in Azure.
• Support cloud migration from on-prem to cloud and zero-trust initiatives.
• Migrate data from on-prem FlexLogic DB to cloud Oracle with vendor support.
• Mentor and lead cloud engineering teams; participate in performance reviews.
• Scale solutions to support ~400k users; ensure security best practices.
