Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support Global Systems Integrator partners and shape opportunities for government customers. You will lead technical design, architecture, and thought leadership, guiding implementation projects and helping partners respond to RFPs with deep AWS expertise.

You will collaborate with a sales and biz dev team to share best practices and educate teammates across enterprise architecture, while maintaining a strong focus on security and customer

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Defining implementation architectures, assisting partners respond to RFPs, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies, as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
• Subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
• Mentorship and knowledge sharing within the AWS solution architect community.
