Job summary

Smart Tech Skills LLC is seeking an IT Senior AWS Developer to join the MassHealth MSD team in Quincy, MA onsite. The role focuses on designing and developing a serverless application to enable providers to submit CIR forms and transmit data to EDM with PostgreSQL RDS for auditing.

Requirements include 8+ years programming, strong AWS serverless experience (Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito), Python, React, and PostgreSQL. The engagement is initially six months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• 8+ years programming in a team environment
• Strong AWS serverless experience (Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito)
• Proficient in Python and Java/J2EE
• Hands-on PostgreSQL RDS and SQL scripting
• Experience with React and modern JS (ES6+)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
• Understanding of security practices for serverless apps
• Knowledge of CMIS and enterprise document management systems

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, test, and document MassHealth applications
• Deliver end-to-end system designs and deployment plans
• Write SQL scripts and optimize queries for data integration
• Maintain code with change control software and documentation
• Collaborate across teams to drive projects and communicate progress
• Adhere to Commonwealth policies and software development standards
