Job summary

Worky is seeking an IT Senior AWS Developer to join its MassHealth Systems Development (MSD) team in Massachusetts. The role focuses on designing and developing a serverless application to enable providers to submit an online CIR form and transmit files to our document management system, with metadata stored in a PostgreSQL RDS for audit and compliance.

The position requires deep AWS expertise, 8+ years of hands-on development, and experience with React, Python, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years programming in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of AWS including serverless architecture.
• Experience with React, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with API design and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation in the development and maintenance of MassHealth applications.
• Accountable for full systems development life cycle including system architecture documents; technical design documents, release management guide, deployment plan documents, and other technical artifacts.
• Prepare SQL scripts for modifying and maintaining data. Write optimized queries, views for integration with other applications.
• Document and maintain code using change control software.
• Support cross-functional projects and integrated business solutions to enhance stakeholder capabilities and efficiencies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to manage projects, create statement of work and communicate progress on goals to both technical and non-technical groups.
• Adhere to established Commonwealth policy and procedures.
