Job summary

Tier4 Group seeks a Senior AWS Developer to design, build and scale cloud-native applications in a fast-paced team. This hybrid role offers 1 day onsite weekly in the greater Boston area and extensive work across full SDLC.

The ideal candidate will have strong AWS expertise (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, Cognito, S3, CloudWatch), hands-on CI/CD, Docker, Python and React experience, and a passion for scalable serverless solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AWS-based applications.
• Build serverless solutions using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop backend services in Python and frontend applications in React.
• Create and optimize PostgreSQL databases, queries, and integrations.
• Design and support REST and SOAP API integrations.
• Participate in architecture, technical design, code reviews, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
