Job summary

Verisys is seeking a hands‑on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, secure, and scale our AWS‑based infrastructure behind a healthcare credentialing platform. The role blends cloud engineering, systems administration, and on‑prem Nutanix management, with emphasis on security, reliability, and automation.

The position is remote, but candidates must reside in a qualifying US state. You will own ECS Anywhere, Rancher, Windows Server duties, SSL/TLS management, and IaC with CloudFormation,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and/or systems administration.
• 3+ years supporting production workloads in AWS.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, Systems Manager).
• Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation) and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer Linux, Windows Server, and on-prem Nutanix environments.
• Administer Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and IIS (on-prem and EC2).
• Automate configuration and patching (Python, PowerShell, Bash, AWS Systems Manager).
• Maintain SSL/TLS certificates and renewals across servers and AWS.
