Job summary

Orange County's Credit Union is seeking an AVP, Collections to lead delinquency management and optimize the portfolio's performance. You will set strategies, oversee cross-channel treatments, and supervise the Assistant Manager and a team of seven collectors.

You will analyze portfolio data, coordinate with third-party vendors, and present insights to senior management. This role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and effective risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Seven years in collections, loan servicing, or a related financial environment.
• Three to five years of supervisory experience in collections or delinquency.
• Experience managing delinquency, recoveries, and loss mitigation activities.
• Experience using data analytics to improve collection strategies.
• Experience with third-party agencies, legal counsel and skip-trace vendors.

Responsibilities

• Owns delinquency and collections portfolio performance and trends.
• Develops collection strategies based on data-driven insights.
• Manages cross-channel treatments and staffing for collections.
