Job summary

CNA Insurance seeks an AVP of Claims Recovery to set direction for recovery operations, leading a 25+ team across high-exposure files and initiatives. The role oversees training, development, and execution of strategic objectives within the Claims organization.

As an officer-level leader, you will drive continuous improvement, monitor trends, and collaborate with underwriting, legal and actuarial to capitalize on recovery opportunities while supporting a flexible hybrid work model across CNA

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of claims management and insurance industry operations.
• Experience leading leaders; strong management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements strategic and operational objectives with impact on recovery claims operations.
• Leads and manages staff with emphasis on talent optimization and succession planning.
• Oversees recovery programs, metrics, processes and initiatives; drives efficiency.
• Coordinates with underwriting, legal, staff counsel and actuarial on trends and opportunities.
• Reports on recovery trends and exposures to internal and external partners.
