Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking an AVP of Claims Recovery to set strategic direction for recovery operations across the Claims organization. This officer-level role leads a team of 25+ professionals and oversees training, development and key initiatives.

The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule and may be based in CNA office locations. Requires extensive claims leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with underwriting, legal and actuarial teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field or equivalent.
• Typically a minimum of 10 years claims experience, with five years management experience.
• Experience leading leaders strongly preferred.
• Applicable certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements strategic and operational objectives with substantial impact on the short-term success of the recovery claims operations.
• Leads and manages staff with focus on talent optimization and succession planning.
• Oversees recovery programs, metrics, processes, results and initiatives.
• Analyzes workflow and staffing to drive efficiency and productivity; acts as liaison to senior management.
• Provides technical oversight of high exposure recovery claims to ensure timely investigations and management.
