Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred in finance, business or related field or equivalent.
• Typically a minimum of 10 years claims experience, with five years management experience.
• Experience leading leaders strongly preferred.
• Applicable certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements strategic and operational objectives with substantial impact on recovery claims operations.
• Leads and manages staff with accountability for talent optimization and succession planning.
• Manages enterprise-wide planning, organizing and leading recovery claim programs, metrics and initiatives.
• Analyzes workflow and staffing to drive efficiency and productivity; liaises with senior management.
• Oversees technical handling of high exposure recovery claims to ensure timely investigations and evaluations.
• Drives continuous improvement and identifies emerging issues through analysis and tech tools.
• Reports on recovery trends and exposures to internal/external partners.
• Coordinates with underwriting, legal, staff counsel, and actuarial on market trends and loss recovery opportunities.
