Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer in Phoenix, AZ, on a hybrid schedule. You will design, develop and implement advanced systems, including hardware, software and networks, working with cross-functional teams to meet safety, performance and customer requirements.

The role emphasizes system-level analysis, requirements management in DOORS, and collaboration across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 6+ years in Systems Engineering, avionics or related.
• Experience with system-level analysis and optimization.
• Familiarity with DO-178B/C, DO-160 or equivalent aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement avionics system solutions meeting safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, software and test engineers for seamless integration.
• Author high-level system requirements in DOORS and manage requirements across lifecycle.
• Perform system-level analysis and optimization, design reviews, and verification activities.
• Support certification activities and customer interface meetings.
• Travel up to 10% and potential relocation support.
