Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Certification Engineer to lead and mentor a team responsible for the certification of avionics systems and equipment. You will ensure compliance with PSP and regulatory requirements while coordinating with multiple product groups and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, adherence to schedules and estimates, and collaboration with customers and internal teams to deliver certified solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, science, math).
• 5 years’ experience in development and certification of avionics systems & equipment.
• A US Citizen or permanent resident due to export control and ITAR restrictions.
• Ability to travel (>10%).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Honeywell Aerospace and FAA PSP requirements and ensure TS0 project compliance.
• Provide technical leadership to a team delivering installation and certification of Honeywell Aerospace products.
• Guide junior engineers and contribute to work estimates and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Aftermarket and Product Program managers and support strategy discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
