Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer in Minneapolis to design and develop cutting‑edge aerospace systems. You will work with cross‑functional teams to integrate complex systems for safe, efficient flight operations, reporting to the Engineering Manager on a hybrid schedule.

The role emphasizes developing system architectures, performing trade studies, and validating designs through bench and flight tests, with a strong focus on compliance and program artifacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years aerospace experience.
• Knowledge of electrical design and RF systems is valued.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and drive initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to existing programs and independently handle tasks.
• Develop requirements and system architecture; perform trade studies.
• Design to meet requirements across disciplines.
• Test and validate designs on bench, test facilities and flight tests.
• Draft program artifacts including requirements, test procedures and reports.
• Support devices in production and participate in proposals.
• Perform RCCA on development and production issues.
• Stay updated on industry standards and translate into actions.
• Advise leadership on pursue/roadmap decisions.
