Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Staff Electronics Integration Engineer to join our team in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo), CA or Palmdale, CA. This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization.

A successful candidate will work on RF payload systems, avionics integration and test, and will participate in design, development, and sustainment activities on mission-critical platforms. On-site work is required with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 12 years’ related engineering experience; or Master’s 10 years; or PhD 9 years.
• Practical experience with RF-related payload systems.
• Experience interfacing with supplier teams to resolve issues in NG labs.
• History of resolving integration issues with multiple IPTs and suppliers, on schedule.
• Active US Government Secret Clearance (with background investigation in past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Top Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with the design, development and sustainment of an avionics related subsystem.
• Work on the integration of avionics payloads and subsystems.
• Collaborate with IPTs and suppliers to ensure successful integration.
