Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Sr. Principal Subsystems Engineer to join our Avionics Integration Organization in Rancho Bernardo, CA.

The role focuses on installation, integration, and troubleshooting of aviation subsystems and related hardware and software. The candidate will lead lab integration, develop test procedures, and produce system requirement documents while coordinating with subsystems engineers to maintain performance and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (or higher) with 8+ years of related engineering experience, or Master’s with 6+, or PhD with 3+.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher with recent BI or CE.
• Experience with avionics subsystem installation, integration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Subsystems Lab Integration.
• System integration, test development and execution for complex avionics systems.
• Create documentation for system requirements and interfaces.
