Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced engineer to design electrical harnesses for power, RF, and high-speed data systems in aerospace hardware. You will create 3D routed harnesses in Creo, generate wiring diagrams, and develop installation drawings for complex spaceflight electronics.

Required BS in a technical field and 8+ years in aerospace harness design, with Creo, Zuken, and Windchill proficiency. WA base pay ranges apply, with benefits including comprehensive insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

BS in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, or Computer Engineering or related technical subject.
8+ years designing wire harnesses for the aerospace industry.
Proficiency with Creo, Zuken and Windchill; knowledge of wire derating analysis.

Responsibilities

Design electrical harnesses for power distribution, RF, and high-speed data signals.
Select harness components, hardware, connectors, backshells, cables, and wires.
Create block interconnect and wiring diagrams; build 3D routed harness data in Creo.
Produce harness installation drawings and 2D flat harness drawings from 3D data.
Support harness design configuration, trade studies, and hardware installation.
Assist in testing cables and harnesses and report status.
