Blue Origin is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the electrical harness design for the Mk1 Vehicle. You will develop wiring interconnect diagrams, harness assembly drawings, and installation drawings, directly influencing spaceflight history.

The role requires 7+ years in aerospace harness design, 3-D CAD proficiency (Creo, Zuken, Windchill), and knowledge of harness standards. Base pay range is listed; multiple benefits apply.

Qualifications

B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Computer Engineering, or related technical subject area.
7+ years designing Wire Harnesses for Aerospace.
Familiar with Creo, Zuken, Windchill or other CAD routing software.
Understanding derating analysis for wires.
Familiar with IPC/WHMA-A-620A, NASA-STD-8739.4.
Strong 3-D CAD design and integration skills.

Responsibilities

Design electrical harnesses for power, RF, data signals.
Select harness components, connectors, and backshells.
Create Wiring diagrams using Zuken E3.
Create 3D routed harness data files with Creo Cabling.
Produce harness detail and installation drawings from 3D data.
Design and integrate harness support brackets.
Support design configuration development and trade studies.
