Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Certification Engineer to lead certification efforts for avionics systems and equipment. You will mentor junior engineers, guide technical strategies, and coordinate with product programs and customers to ensure regulatory compliance under PSP with FAA guidelines.

You will report to the Senior Certification Engineering Manager and work from Phoenix, AZ, with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 remote after 90 days).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, science, math).
• 5 years’ experience in development and certification of avionics systems & equipment.
• U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident for export control/ITAR.
• Ability to travel (>10%).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a team of Certification Engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to work estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate with Aftermarket and Product Program managers on certification）、strategy discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support regulatory compliance activities and adherence to PSP and FAA requirements.
