Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer for the acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs. This on-site role at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD requires full-time presence.

An active Secret Clearance is required, with potential TS clearance after start. The candidate should have ten years of software and systems engineering experience, familiarity with DOD standards, and be able to coordinate with vendors on system integration

Qualifications

• Ten years of software and Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.
• Active Secret Clearance is required to obtain access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements and reviews.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Analyze software defects and support cybersecurity SMEs.
• Participate in SE Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support ECP process and prepare SOWs/CDRLs.
• Develop IGCEs and support contractor proposals evaluations.
