Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Senior Superintendent for its Aviation Division in the United States. The role leads day-to-day field activities, manages a large staff of employee-owners, and ensures safety plans are implemented across the jobsite.

Requirements include a BS in CM/engineering or related field, 10+ years aviation construction experience, OSHA 30 certification, and willingness to travel or relocate for key projects. We are an ESOP company offering strong benefits.

Qualifications

• B.S. in construction management, construction science, engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required (can be obtained within first year).
• 10+ years aviation construction field experience with supervision of large projects.
• Experience with terminal/concourse development and ConRAC facilities.
• Willingness to travel or relocate for project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field construction activities on assigned jobsite.
• Manage large project staff including multiple superintendents.
• Oversee site safety plans and procedures.
• Review submittals, drawings, and schedules to plan resources.
• Coordinate layout, equipment, and material needs per project stage.
• Supervise field engineers and ensure quality workmanship.
