Job summary
Austin Commercial seeks an Assistant Superintendent II for its Aviation division to support the superintendent, coordinate on-site layouts, scheduling, and safety on complex aviation construction projects in San Francisco. You will manage daily field activities, guide foremen, and ensure compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards.

Qualifications
- B.S. in construction management/science, engineering or related field and 2+ years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided
Responsibilities
- Assist the superintendent in reviewing documents, submittals, shop drawings, and schematics
- Plan site layout, startup activities, materials storage, and equipment needs
- Direct field engineers for survey and layout; ensure elevations are verified
- Plan daily/weekly craft activities and provide clear technical instructions
- Ensure safety plans are implemented and maintained on site
- Monitor labor costs and productivity; adjust resources as needed
- Oversee equipment usage, maintenance, and costs
