Job summary

Austin Commercial in San Francisco's Aviation Division is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead day-to-day field construction on the project. The role requires overseeing a large staff of employee-owners, ensuring safety, coordinating with engineers and architects, and maintaining schedule integrity.

Candidates should have a B.S. in construction management or related field, OSHA 30-Hour, and 10+ years of aviation construction supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. in construction management, construction science, engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training completed or obtainable within first year.
• 10+ years of aviation construction field experience with direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees the day-to-day field construction activities on assigned jobsite.
• In charge of the overall safety at a jobsite, including the implementation of safety plans and procedures.
• Reviews plans, submittals and schedule to determine materials, manpower and equipment needs.
• Plans daily/weekly activities for each craft and ensures clear instructions to foremen.
• Maintains relationships with owners, architects, consultants and other stakeholders.
