Job summary

West Star Aviation seeks a Lead Maintenance Inspector in Chicago, IL for a full-time, on-site position. You will manage quality control tasks, ensure adherence to the RSQCM and Federal Aviation Regulations, and perform final release inspections with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an A&P license or Repairman Certificate, and extensive Part 43 maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; A&P License or Repairman Certificate.
• Extensive maintenance experience with Part 43 and familiarity with inspection equipment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign-offs for adherence to RSQCM and regulations.
• Perform front-line inspections to ensure AMM and GMM conformity.
• Verify MEL procedures and perform final walk-around before release.

Education
