Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to uphold FAA regulations and company quality standards. You will work with Aircraft Technicians, Program Managers, Team Leaders, and QA Inspectors to ensure airframes pass inspection and return to service.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, an A&P License or Repairman Certificate, and 3 years of turbine aircraft inspection experience. IA rating is a plus, and you must be able to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A&P License or Repairman Certificate required.
• IA rating recommended.
• 3 years turbine aircraft inspection experience with return to service authority required.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations.
• Customer service experience recommended.
• Follow all company rules and FAA regulations during performance of duties.

Responsibilities

• Inspect technician's work and perform “ok to close”
• Audit quality control processes and ensure proper sign-offs
• Participate in daily review meetings
• Assist with Airframe Inspections and return-to-service
• Coordinate with departments to sign off steps and close squawks
• Maintain Equipment Removal and Installation Log
• Support QA with log research to resolve issues
• Maintain clear, customer-oriented communication in English
