Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Maintenance Inspector to manage quality control tasks and ensure adherence to the RSQCM, Federal Aviation Regulations, and Customer Maintenance Programs. Responsibilities include reviewing assignments, performing front-line checks, and ensuring proper documentation and communication.

You will verify MEL procedures, conduct aircraft release, and supervise multiple projects while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a hangar environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus Airframe and Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate.
• Must be proficient in using inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign-offs to ensure adherence to approvals.
• Perform spot checks of maintenance activity to ensure compliance with AMM, RSQCM, and GMM guidelines.
• Verify MEL procedures, RQC/RSO requirements, and proper documentation.
• Conduct aircraft final walk-around and release with attention to disturbed areas.
• Ensure proper data is used (Maintenance/Overhaul Manuals, Service Bulletins, specs).
• Direct work and flow of multiple projects and communicate effectively in English.
