Job summary

West Star Aviation in Dallas, TX is seeking a Lead Maintenance Inspector to oversee quality control, ensure compliance with AMM/RSQCM and FAA regulations, and lead a team in a fast-paced repair station.

Responsibilities include reviewing technician assignments, performing spot checks, validating MEL procedures, and releasing aircraft after final walk-around; strong English communication and real-time coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and an FAA‑recognized airframe/aircraft license or repairman certificate.
• Experience in maintenance, inspections or alterations with Part 43 knowledge.
• Strong ability to review work, ensure compliance, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of quality control tasks and ensure adherence to manuals and FAA regulations.
• Review technician assignments and sign-offs for roster and repair station authorizations.
• Perform front-line spot checks of maintenance activity for compliance.
• Verify MEL procedures and ensure proper data is used during maintenance.
• Coordinate with tech support and advise customers upon aircraft release.
