Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Maintenance Inspector to oversee QC tasks and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and internal manuals (RSQCM, MQB). The role requires an A&P license or Repairman Certificate and extensive maintenance experience.

You will guide technicians, verify MEL procedures, and coordinate with customers on releases. The position demands strong English communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hangar environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required and an A&P license or Repairman Certificate.
• Must be proficient in using inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
• Strong team player with self-motivation and ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign offs for adherence to Roster Authorizations and Repair Station Authorizations.
• Perform front line, spot checks of technician maintenance activity for compliance with AMM, RSQCM, and GMM guidelines.
• Ensure Repair Station RQC and Operators RII requirements are identified, inspected and documented.
• Perform aircraft final walk-around and release with attention to areas disturbed during maintenance.
• Communicate release to customer via email and ensure current Technical Data is used.
