Job summary

West Star Aviation in Dallas is seeking a Lead Maintenance Inspector to oversee quality control and ensure compliance with AMM, RSQCM, Customer Maintenance Programs, and FAA regulations. You will review technician assignments, perform spot checks, verify MEL procedures, and coordinate with customer priorities.

Strong English communication and leadership abilities are essential in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, an A&P license or Repairman

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A&P license or Repairman Certificate required.
• Driver's license ideal; aviation experience preferred.
• Experience with FAA guidelines and Repair Station procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign-offs to ensure adherence to authorizations.
• Perform front line spot checks of technician maintenance activity for compliance with AMM, RSQCM and GMM.
• Ensure all Repair Station RQC and Operators RII requirements are identified, inspected and documented.
• Conduct engine run/taxi qualification for relevant technicians.
• Verify satisfactory squawk and operational checks; communicate with tech support.
