Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is looking for a Lead Maintenance Inspector to oversee quality control tasks and ensure compliance with the Repair Station Manual, customer programs, and Federal Aviation Regulations.

You will review technician work, perform spot checks, verify MEL procedures, manage aircraft release, and ensure use of current manuals and data while maintaining safety and customer service standards. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and A&P license or Repairman Certificate required.
• Valid driver’s license is ideal but not mandatory.
• Aircraft-specific factory training is preferred.
• Extensive experience in maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign-offs for adherence to authorizations.
• Perform front line spot checks of maintenance activity against guidelines.
• Verify MEL procedures and proper use of current technical data.
• Conduct final walk-around and release of aircraft to customer.
• Reject non-compliant work and communicate issues clearly to teams.

Education
