Job summary

McGee Air Services in Renton, WA is seeking a Labor Relations Manager to develop and manage positive labor management relations between McGee and the IAM. This role administers CBAs, supports leadership in labor relations matters, ensures compliance with the CBA, and serves as the primary liaison with union representatives.

The manager plays a critical role in ensuring effective labor relations practices across McGee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of labor relations or employee relations experience, preferably in airline operations.
• Experience handling grievances, arbitrations, and investigations.
• Strong understanding of labor laws and collective bargaining practices.
• Excellent negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary company representative in dealings with the union general chairs.
• Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreements (CBAs).
• Support collective bargaining negotiations and related MOUs/arbitrations.
• Manage grievance review board, arbitration preparation, and dispute resolution.
• Build collaborative relationships with union leadership to promote effective communication and stability.
