McGee Air Services in Portland, OR is seeking an HR Specialist to support HR functions for a high-performing operation. You will work with station leadership to support attendance reliability, employee relations, labor relations, and other HR duties, delivering excellent service while modeling McGee's values.

The role involves maintaining confidentiality, guiding on policies, benefits, onboarding, lifecycle events, airport badge requirements, pre-employment checks, and collaboration with Payroll

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding employee information, HR matters, investigations, and company business.
• Respond toTeam Member inquiries and provide guidance on company policies, procedures, benefits, and employment-related questions.
• Partner with station leadership to support employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management activities.
• Support attendance and reliability programs by maintaining records, preparing documentation, and applying policies consistently.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and retention requirements.
• Review, audit, and process HR transactions and personnel documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with Recruiting to support hiring activities, including eligibility reviews and pre-employment processes.
• Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, promotions, transfers, leaves, separations, and return-to-work processes.
• Assist with airport badging and regulatory compliance requirements, ensuring required credentials and access.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Operations, and Administrative teams to resolve discrepancies in HR and attendance data.
• Assist with HR programs and projects including training, open enrollment, communications, and process improvements.
• Prepare reports, maintain tracking logs, and ensure timely completion of admin and compliance duties.
• Build positive cross-department relationships promoting an inclusive, high-performing workplace.
• Perform other duties to support station operations.
