Job summary

Invenergy LLC, a leading energy developer, seeks an experienced PI System administrator to own enterprise AVEVA PI environments and drive scalable data integrations from OT sources. You will configure, maintain, and optimize the PI System components across data archives, AF, and vision tools, while advancing automation with Python, PowerShell, and .NET.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API and PI Vision.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems with focus on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with the PI System.
• Administer and support PI components including Data Archive, Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate with IT to implement infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and custom telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Mentor junior team members and provide onboarding support for new project startups.
