Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a senior AVEVA PI System Engineer to manage enterprise PI environments and drive data integrations across OT platforms. You will administer data archives, AF, and PI Vision, while coordinating with IT for infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems with a focus on the AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate, evaluate and integrate complex OT systems with the AVEVA PI System.
• Administer PI System components (PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate with IT for infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
• Design scalable workarounds for system limitations and develop automation for maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Lead investigations of PI System issues affecting performance, reliability, and data availability.
• Maintain technical documentation and support data pipelines, integrations, and automation.
