Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced OT/PI System engineer to act as a SME for AVEVA PI System, focusing on data integrations from OT sources and maintaining PI components. You will drive architecture improvements, coordinate IT upgrades, and develop automation with Python, PowerShell, and .NET.

The role requires 5+ years in AVEVA PI environments, strong networking knowledge, and programming/scripting skills. Remote-friendly position with base pay in USD and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into PI System from SCADA/DCS/RTUs/PLCs and other data sources.
• Investigate and integrate OT systems with AVEVA PI System.
• Administer PI components including PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate with IT for infrastructure upgrades, patching and maintenance.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Maintain technical documentation and support data pipelines for Operations Engineering.
• Lead onboarding for new project startups and mentor junior team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
