Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced AVEVA PI Specialist to manage enterprise PI environments, integrate OT data sources, and enhance PI system reliability across North America. The role emphasizes automation, data architecture improvements, and cross-team collaboration.

You will mentor junior staff, maintain real-time data pipelines, and coordinate infrastructure upgrades while ensuring robust PI performance and data availability for critical control center operations.

Competenze

• Five+ years administering enterprise AVEVA PI environments (Data Archive, AF, Collectives, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision).
• Solid TCP/IP networking knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Mansioni

• Act as SME for OT systems focusing on the AVEVA PI System.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate and integrate complex OT systems with the PI System.
• Administer and support PI components (PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision).
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate with IT for infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
• Design scalable and maintainable workarounds for system limitations.
• Prepare technical and business justifications for modernization and expansion.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Lead investigation and resolution of PI System issues affecting performance and data availability.
• Maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions and integrations.
• Support Operations Engineering with data pipelines and automation.
• Maintain real-time data collection for control center operations.
• Lead onboarding for new project startups and mentor junior team members.
