Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an experienced OT/PI Systems Engineer to manage enterprise AVEVA PI environments and drive data integration across SCADA, DCS, RTUs, and PLCs. You will optimize PI architecture, maintain interfaces, and work with IT for upgrades, ensuring reliable data collection for operations.

The role requires strong scripting in .NET, Python, and PowerShell, plus practical networking knowledge. Remote-friendly with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, Asset Framework (AF), Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms, including SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs, and other sources.
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with the AVEVA PI System.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Maintain technical documentation for implementations and integrations.
• Onboard new project startups, define point and system configurations, coordinate stakeholders.
